Details: 1977 Fiat 124 spider convertible in restorable condition. I bought this car to restore last year from an older gentleman who had it stored in his garage for 2 years. He hadn´t started it the entire time. When I got it I lubricated the engine got the fuel and electrical systems working and got it to start fine. put a new battery in it. then I noticed the water pump was leaking...probably from sitting so long. So I turned it off and haven´t been able to work on it since. Anyway I really wanted to restore this vehicle, but have too many projects to get to it. The nice thing about this one is the body is really solid not rusted out because it sat in a garage. The only panel rust is on the bottom of the passenger door. The hood has surface rust but no rust through. It is solid just needs sanding down before painting. This is a solid car. So hard to find without major rust through in fenders qtrs doors around trunk lip, around windshield. THIS VEHICLE HAS NONE OF THAT. All wood in great shape. needs the usual restoration attention. I would probably put a new oil pump in it before starting it again since it sat so long. Or it just may need to be pulled and cleaned of any sludge from it sitting so long. A real solid restorable vehicle worth 3 to 5k when restored. Need to sell fast but NOT moving off price less than a $1000 cause its worth that. send an email and I´ll get right back to you as I check email every hour.
